EdMagZ Geometry Module MG5: Special Quadrilaterals helps students investigate the properties and classification of quadrilaterals through hands-on magnetic manipulatives designed for interactive geometry instruction. Students explore parallelograms, rectangles, rhombuses, squares, kites, trapezoids, and isosceles trapezoids while identifying relationships involving congruent sides, parallel sides, diagonals, angle measures, and symmetry.
Using moveable magnetic shapes, congruency markers, parallel markers, right-angle indicators, and dry-erase annotations, students actively construct and analyze geometric diagrams rather than simply memorizing properties from notes or textbooks.
